Blockforger's mission: Harness AI's power while keeping humans in control. We provide a four-layer safety framework ensuring every AI-generated output requires human review before it affects your business—combining AI's dynamic capabilities with the tested predictability of traditional computing.

The Existential Risk of Unsupervised AI

Language models are powerful because they are dynamic. They can generate code, create content, and solve problems in ways that traditional software cannot. But this very dynamism creates an existential risk to your business when left unsupervised.

Unstructured, disorderly language model behavior can pose catastrophic threats:

Real-World Breaches: The Cost of Lax Security

Recent headlines reveal a disturbing pattern: companies are falling victim to security breaches caused by "vibe-coded" development: rapid AI-assisted development without proper security review.

Example 1: Tea App Cloud Storage Exposure

In July 2025, Tea, a dating app designed for women to share dating experiences, suffered a significant data breach when their Firebase storage bucket was left unsecured. The misconfiguration exposed approximately 72,000 images, including 13,000 selfies and photo IDs used for user verification, along with 59,000 images from posts, comments, and direct messages. The breach was discovered when users on 4chan accessed the exposed database, leading to unauthorized dissemination of sensitive user data.

Root Cause: The Firebase storage bucket was publicly accessible without proper authentication or access controls, a basic misconfiguration that could have been prevented with proper security review. This type of oversight is common in rapid, AI-assisted development where security checks are skipped.

Impact: 72,000 images exposed, including sensitive verification photos. The breach affected users who registered before February 2024, causing significant privacy violations and reputational damage.

Example 2: xAI Security Key Leak on GitHub

In July 2025, a software developer unintentionally leaked sensitive API credentials for Elon Musk's xAI platform on GitHub. This leak exposed access to at least 52 private large language models, including Grok-4-0709, a high-powered GPT-4-class model used in both public platforms and federal contracts. The exposed credentials could have allowed unauthorized access to critical AI infrastructure and sensitive data.

Root Cause: A developer accidentally committed API keys and security credentials to a public GitHub repository. This type of credential leak is common when developers copy AI-generated code examples that include placeholder credentials, or when AI assistants generate code with hardcoded keys that developers forget to replace with environment variables.

Impact: Potential access to 52 private AI models, including models used in federal contracts. The incident raises major concerns over national security and the handling of critical AI tools. This demonstrates how a simple oversight in AI-assisted development can have catastrophic consequences.

Example 3: AWS S3 Bucket Ransomware Campaign

In 2024, attackers exploited over 1,200 unique AWS access keys to launch a massive ransomware campaign targeting Amazon S3 storage buckets. The attackers used AWS's Server-Side Encryption with Customer-Provided Keys (SSE-C) to encrypt data stored in S3 buckets, making recovery impossible without the encryption key. Many of these compromised buckets were left publicly accessible due to misconfigured access controls, a common mistake when using AI-generated infrastructure-as-code templates.

Root Cause: Developers used AI assistants to generate Terraform or CloudFormation templates for S3 bucket creation. The AI-generated code created buckets with overly permissive access policies or left buckets publicly accessible. When developers deployed these templates without security review, they created vulnerable infrastructure that attackers could exploit.

Impact: Over 1,200 AWS accounts compromised, data encrypted and held for ransom, and complete data loss for organizations that couldn't pay or recover their encryption keys. This demonstrates how AI-generated infrastructure code can create security vulnerabilities that lead to catastrophic data breaches when deployed without proper review.

⚠️ The Pattern is Clear

In each case, AI-generated code appeared functional but contained critical security flaws. The development teams, trusting AI output or moving too fast, skipped the security review process. The result: catastrophic data breaches that could have been prevented with proper human oversight.

How Blockforger Keeps Humans in the Loop

Every AI-generated output requires human review before it affects your business. Our four-layer safety framework ensures accountability at every step.

Human-in-the-Loop Safeguards

Four-Layer Safety Framework

  1. Solid Foundation of Authorization Controls
Your data and schemas are protected by robust authorization controls that prevent unauthorized access. Every operation requires proper authentication, and access is scoped to prevent data leaks. Unlike AI-generated code that might skip security checks, Blockforger's authorization is built into the platform foundation.
  2. Review Your Schemas After LLM Creation
AI-generated JSON schemas must be reviewed before activation. While schemas are simple text files, they define your application's state and behavior: inputs, persistence, and outputs. From schemas, Blockforger constructs universal API frontends, backends, and data views. Review ensures AI doesn't expose sensitive structures or create problematic application states.
  3. Review Pre-filled Data Before Submitting
AI can pre-fill complex forms, but every field is reviewed before submission. Nothing is submitted automatically. You verify accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  4. Automatic Validation Against Schemas
All data is validated against schemas before submission, ensuring type safety and format correctness. Validation errors are shown before submission, preventing malformed data from entering your system.

The AI Paradox

AI is powerful because it is dynamic. It can generate solutions we never imagined, adapt to new problems, and create code that "feels right." This dynamism is what makes AI assistants so valuable.

But AI would be unstoppable if it were structured and predictable. If we could guarantee AI outputs were always correct, secure, and safe, we could deploy AI-generated systems with confidence.

The fundamental limitation: A computer can never be held accountable. Therefore a computer must never make a management decision. We don't know why an AI generated a particular piece of code. We can't verify its security properties. We can't guarantee it won't leak data or create vulnerabilities. The very dynamism that makes AI powerful also makes it unpredictable and dangerous when unsupervised.

The reality: We can involve AI in webapp development and data-management when strong governance and oversight are in place, replacing by-hand expert coding entirely. This is a limited, safe, and achievable goal.

Blockforger creates a safe marriage of AI's dynamicity with the tested predictability of traditional computing. AI is held accountable, and full-stack webapps are built on a common platform of trust and structure.

The Blockforger Approach

Blockforger combines AI's dynamic power with traditional computing's predictability. AI assists with schema generation, form pre-filling, and data fixing, but humans review and approve every change. Built-in authorization, automatic validation, and structured data models ensure security and compliance while maintaining the speed of AI assistance.
